Perhaps you were on a once in a lifetime trip to New York or Paris and came across a tiny boutique full of luxurious finds that you won’t locate anywhere else in the world. Months later, you wish you were able to shop that little boutique you found in Paris but not sure if you will ever get to go back. This is exactly what happened to Shoptiques founder and CEO Olga Vindisheva. The concept of Shoptiques.com was established based upon her shoe finding at a small Paris boutique she stumbled upon while traveling there. Olga always wanted to go back to that unique and stylish boutique with the friendly and fashionable owner but didn’t know if she would ever get the chance again. However, she found that the United States had hidden boutiques with those single entrepreneur owners carrying unique, one-of-kind pieces that ensure you will not be dressing like everyone else! This is how Shoptiques came to fruition.
Olga decided to bring the most fabulous boutiques from all over the world that we are longing to shop in directly to us. Shoptiques.com gives you several different ways to shop those local stores. The buyer can shop at any boutique they want from Tennessee to New York to Paris or they can just click on topics such as accessories, clothing, etc., find an item they like and buy it directly from the boutique selling the item. The items range from under $50.00 for that budget conscious shopper to over $200.00 or more! What I also love about this wonderfully successful site is that each boutique includes pictures of what it looks like on the inside. So you can get that interactive feel of what the boutique looks like while you shop! The site is not only user friendly but beautiful as well. You really feel like you are walking the streets of Paris while browsing and shopping!
Many others are seeing the benefits of boutiquing online as well and starting up various sites of their own. Another boutique site called Jane.com (formerly known as VeryJane) is another up and coming online boutique. This website works a little different as the boutique offers so many items at a discounted price for a particular day(s) to sale. Once the item featured on Jane runs out of stock, it is no longer available for the consumer at that price. It’s a first come first serve basis but you still get fantastic boutique items from around shops around the US at amazing prices!
Online boutiquing is vastly becoming a major market in online shopping. You can’t deny finding those unique pieces that everyone will be asking, “where did you get that?”
